Ein Interview mit Regisseur Marko Nabersnik (Die Wälder sind noch Grün) und ein Philip Seymour Hoffman sind mehr als genug Gesprächsstoff für den 11. Podcast.
This Sunday (February 2nd) American actor Philip Seymour Hoffman (The Master, The Boat that Rocked) passed away from an apparent drug overdose at the age of 46. For more information on his death and how this will affect the final two Hunger Games movies hit the jump:

It can never hurt to recommend The Boat that Rocked a second time and seeing as there are two separate Christmas celebrations I saw it only fit to put that scene in as well.

Love Actually is the movie that will always wind up somehow in a Christmas list I put together. Directed by Richard Curtis (the director of the equally fabulous The Boat that Rocked) this movie features a huge ensemble of many of the best British actors alive. Each story is set during the time before Christmas and those short stories interconnect from time to time – but mostly they stand as short movies about a certain type of love, some rewarding, some unrewarding, some unexpected.

I doubt I can ever get tired of praising The Boat that Rocked as one of the most underappreciated feelgood movies I have ever seen. Directed by Richard Curtis (Love Actually) this movie tells the story of a group of DJ’s sitting on a boat where they (semi)-illegally broadcast Rock ‘n Roll music.
It is always good when a movie surprises you – even when some of the flaws that you feared would be in there are still there.
X-Men: First Class brings the X-Men back to its roots after the last two installments (especially Wolverine) managed to underwhelm but this time without the clawed mutant as its lead.
Helmed by director Matthew Vaughn (Kick-Ass) First Class tells the story of how Magneto and Professor X first met and links the mutant history to the Cuban missile crisis. Contrary to many prequels this movie actually succeeds in making the backstory interesting.
