Gal Gadot is Wonder Woman… in Batman vs Superman

Wow… so the rumors for Wonder Woman in Batman vs. Superman are true….

In a press release from Variety the rumors about Wonder Woman in 2015’s team up movie got confirmed: Wonder Woman will be in Batman vs. Superman (in need for an official title) and she will be played by Gal Gadot (Fast Five, Furious 6). Zack Snyder had the following to say:

Wonder Woman is arguably one of the most powerful female characters of all time and a fan favorite in the DC Universe. Not only is Gal an amazing actress, but she also has that magical quality that makes her perfect for the role. We look forward to audiences discovering Gal in the first feature film incarnation of this beloved character
