Listen to Cumberbatch slowly speaking about Kirk and Zod has something to say as well!

Two very similar viral marketing videos for Star Trek Into Darkness and Man of Steel appeared. Both are about the villains John Harrison (Benedict Cumberbatch, Star Trek Into Darkness) and General Zod (Michael Shannon, Man of Steel) respectively. Cumberbatch’s monologue is shown over some trailer moments which makes it look more like a trailer with a voiceover and bad image quality:

The Man of Steel edition is much more an “in-universe trailer” as it sounds like a transmission by General Zod adressing his nemesis Kal-El (Superman, Henry Cavill) to surrender:
